About Coach LB

Coach LB was a star athlete in high school and met her husband when she was 5yr old. They got pregnant with their first child right out of high school, and everyone kept telling Coach LB "Oh you're young, the weight will just fall right off…but after she had her… it didn’t. Before Coach LB knew it, she was pregnant 2 more times and then had her son, and the weight gain was even more. With 2 little ones running around all the time and then as they got older having sports programs to go to…Coach LB really didn’t prioritize herself and slowly started drinking more and gaining even more weight. She took a picture one day trying on swimsuits for summer and that is the picture that was the turning point for her. She didn’t even recognize herself anymore. Coach  LB kicked it into gear and lost an astonishing 40 pounds in 4 months. She prioritized herself and took care of herself, so she could be there for her kids. After that, Coach LB ended up being a surrogate and helping a couple have a baby of their own and that was the toughest pregnancy of all. She gained more weight than both her kids combined and was the heaviest she ever was topping out at 200lb. Coach LB had complications with preeclampsia and post eclampsia and was not able to just get back in shape right away...but she did not give up. It took Coach LB about a year to fully recover and lose 60lb to ultimately get back to herself. Life ended up taking over again. She started losing focus of herself and one day of bad habits turned into 2...then a week...a month...and before she knew it… Coach LB was up 35 pounds again in roughly a 5-month span. She once again looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize herself anymore. It was like she was in complete denial that she wasn’t going to gain weight, and that she wasn’t going to be unhappy if she did. Wanting to learn the science about her weight cycling habits and why couldn’t she keep the weight off, Coach LB decided to become a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer. She wanted to learn the science behind...Why do certain things work? Why should we care about macros and exercising? How do we maneuver through plateaus and keeping the weight off? Not only did Coach LB lose the weight a 3rd time…she used the skills she had learned with her husband, and he lost 40lb in about 5 months. He was able to come off of all medications such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure, because he got his weight under control and was hitting all the macros, nutrients, and minerals that his body needed. Coach LB's kids food prep with her now and are learning healthy habits now vs having to struggle when they are older. Coach LB and her husband are able to be the parents that are active in their kids lives that they always have wanted to be. This is when Coach LB realized that she had a passion and ability to change lives with the knowledge she had learned, and by mastering the weight lose process after having to go through it herself 3 times. It has been over 5 years now that Coach LB started her final weight lose journey, prioritizing herself first, so she could be there for her kids and family. Now her family is the happiest it has ever been. Coach LB truly believes that once we start taking care of ourselves, everyone around us starts noticing, and our entire lives change.
